Step 1: Open the Tricky Words Dashboard

Open Spelling Boost and tap the Tricky Words tab on the bottom navigation bar. If your child hasn’t completed any tests yet, the screen will prompt you to create your first spelling list. Once tests are completed, the dashboard displays word accuracy cards and practice history.

Step 2: Select Your Practice Language

If your child practices spelling lists in multiple languages (such as English, Spanish, or French), choose your preferred language from the top selector. Tricky Words are automatically grouped by language so words from different languages are kept separate and clear.

Step 3: Tap Start Practice for a 10-Word Session

Tap the Start Practice floating button. Spelling Boost automatically assembles a 10-word practice test containing the words your child needs to review most.

Step 4: Practice & Complete Guided Corrections

Your child listens to the spoken audio dictation, views optional definitions and example sentences, and writes their answer using on-screen handwriting or keyboard typing. If any word is misspelled, Spelling Boost immediately triggers Guided Corrections mode, prompting your child to re-write the word until it is mastered.
